We are seriously excited about Anna Garforth.

She will be creating a piece of art on St Chad's Place, and although the actual piece will be a surprise, you can see some of her inspiring work here.

Lumen Cafe

Lumen Cafe, a fabulous new place in Kings Cross, will be making us some sweet treats!

Here is a little review on them from the Create KX blog:

They say that what they do is very simple – they buy the best
ingredi­ents that they can find and turn them into deli­cious food,
cooked from scratch. They make all their own cakes and bis­cuits, pickles
and chut­neys, dress­ings, may­on­naise and breakfast
jams!

Lumen Cafe is owned and run as a social enterprise by the Holy Cross
Centre Trust (http://www.hcct.org.uk/), a
local charity which works to promote positive approaches to mental health,
homelessness and refugees and asylum seekers. All profits to go into supporting
timebanking and other community projects, and so you can have a delicious lunch
and feel a little better about yourself too!

Funfair

It wouldn't be a party without a little healthy competition - try your hand at cork shooting, tin can alley, hoopla, coconut shy, or test your strength on a giant bell striker...And for a little more adventure, get up on the bucking bronco!

Where else can you get your very own architect-baked-cupcake!? (And who knew there were so many talented bakers in our midst?)

All proceeds will go to support the Trinity Hospice (by our friend who is taking part in the Mongol Rally, which looks amazing!)

I'm pretty sure Camino is always fun to have at a party and they will also be tempting us with some tasty Spanish delights!

Sourced is also going to be doing an apple bobbing event!

Sourced is amazing, it's impossible not to be totally inspired every time you pass their market in St. Pancras. They use seasonal ingredients and work with local artisan food producers to create really delicious food.

And they're fun too! (I met one of them today so I can attest to this - I was given a full rundown on the best of British summer games)

Graffiti

Bring along your inner graffiti artist for our looooong graffiti walls, blank and ready for your ink!

Icicle Tricycle

Could anything be better than bicycles and ice cream in the summer? Icicle Tricycle will be pedalling around the party!

Smithy's Wine Bar

Smithy's, the other local Wicklow Street haunt, will be open for drinks and food. They're a great example of a place that "Loves their Street" with their gorgeous flower boxes and baskets.

Good news for fun-lovers

For those of you wanting to continue the festivities well into the night, both 06 St Chad's Place and Smithy's Wine Bar will be open for drinks and fun 'til late.
